Build a Growing Network of Untapped Talent

Why become our partner?

We offer an effective and efficient source for talent for financial services firms that are interested in creating talent pipelines of diverse candidates.

Opportunity should not stand in the way of talent.

ATLAS is the only nonprofit organization to focus solely on preparing under-resourced young people for careers in finance. Our students, or Fellows as they are called, receive four years of scholarships, mentorships, and real-world work experience to ensure they are prepared for life changing careers in the finance industry.

Benefits of becoming a partner

As an ATLAS partner you will be supporting our mission to transform the face of finance for generations to come. Whether you are a large bank or boutique firm, ATLAS provides:

Access to a curated slate of candidates

During an introductory conversation, we will learn about the technical and soft skills required for a successful internship. Next, we will provide a short list of candidates that meet the profile—all of whom met a rigorous bar for admission and have at least one year of internship experience and have received training in Excel, Finance 101 and Professional Development 101. You will be responsible for conducting interviews and making the final hiring decisions.

Learning and networking opportunities

Partners receive training on the ATLAS mentorship model and how to work with Gen Z students. Throughout the year, partners also are invited to learn from industry leaders about a wide range of topics and participate in events to network with other partners and program participants.

Hosting an ATLAS Fellow helped me build leadership and management skills and introduced me to new ways of thinking about my own role within the firm.

Amy Ellis

The search for talent has never been more intense. The ATLAS model has done an incredible job of finding and training the future leaders of financial services. I’ve been so thrilled with the students in the program and their drive and intellect. ATLAS gives them the tools to be successful in the profession.

Meet the Fellows

Our Fellows are recruited from Chicago and New York and come from a variety of experiences and backgrounds:

Are the first in their family to attend college

We start relationships with high school seniors because it is a pivotal inflection point that allows us to identify and develop brilliant and hard working young people who might not otherwise have access to this career path.

All ATLAS Fellows are either the first in their family to attend college or are coming from a low income background.

We provide four years of college scholarships to ensure our Fellows can go to the college of their choice and graduate with a four-year degree.

We also provide more than just financial support to help them succeed. ATLAS’s professional development and internship opportunities provide career pathways in an industry that has an accelerated recruitment timeline and too often requires a legacy connection.

“For people like me and my family, where most individuals have not gone to college, any specialized job that required a college degree was often out of the picture.

This experience has completely shattered that preconception. I am excited for the future where I can work in specialized fields and pursue my finance career.”

Shaun Karani, 2023 ATLAS Fellow

“I joined ATLAS to make it possible for me to break into the finance industry – a world so defined by connections. For dedicated individuals like myself, the ATLAS program exists to ensure our dreams of a career in finance are realized by bridging the gap between our abilities and our opportunities. In my pursuit of this program, I also aspire to become a figure who’s in a position to give back to ambitious youth who merely need a helping hand.”
