The financial sector includes firms that offer services to individuals, businesses, and governments. Finance roles, often highly competitive and lucrative, typically require at least a four-year degree in fields like math, business, economics, or statistics, though specific educational requirements can vary widely.

Careers in finance often offer a median income well above the national average*, providing the potential for a financially secure lifestyle and the freedom that comes with it. Though the field is fast-paced and at times high-pressure, finance rewards those who thrive on solving complex problems, driving growth, and contributing to team success.

(*) In 2022, the median annual wage for business and financial occupations was $32,000 higher than the median annual wage for all occupations.
