Marilyn Shi

I became an ATLAS Fellow because I want to build a better future—for myself, for those who have supported me along the way, and for the future faces of finance. As the eldest of three children and the daughter of immigrants, I want to show my siblings that only the sky is the limit. I want to show my parents that their leap of faith to immigrate to the U.S. was worth the struggle. Ultimately, I hope to create a more inclusive environment for the future faces of finance and be a pillar of support to help others believe that they, too, belong in the finance industry. I am forever grateful to ATLAS for providing me with the opportunity to take that leap of faith and jumpstart what is about to be an amazing, life-changing journey.
