Growing up in low-income family, I have long realized the importance of financial freedom especially as a woman. I want to show to my mother that the sacrifices she has made were worth it – that despite the hardships she is currently facing, in a couple of years, I will be able to make it big and be successful. I want to be able to support my family and show that there are so many opportunities out there. Being an ATLAS Fellow doesn’t just mean gaining access to invaluable internships or networking opportunities, but it also means joining a community full of people who want to use the world of finance to better the world. We all share similar goals, and it’s a great space to be a part of.
