ATLAS Graduate Profile: Alice

Alice is a 2021 ATLAS Fellow who has interned at Balyasny Asset Management, BTIG, Loop Capital and William Blair. This spring, she will graduate from the University of Michigan where she has served as the treasurer of her sorority and participated in the Stocks and Bonds Organization. Following are some highlights of Alice’s four years as an ATLAS Fellow.

How did your internship at BTIG contribute to your growth?

BTIG was one of my first internships and I was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join as a compliance intern. I was able to learn many soft and hard skills that benefited me later. I received meaningful work that contributed to the team, and had opportunities to learn more about compliance.

Graduation is around the corner! What comes to mind when you reflect on your time with ATLAS?

Without ATLAS I would have never had the opportunity to gain as much exposure to the business industry as I have during the past few years. I was fortunate to have a support system that helped me navigate the various industries and career paths, while allowing me to focus on school with less financial stress. The community that I have made is something that I will always remember and hope to continue for many years moving forward!
