ATLAS Fellows Welcomes Director of Partnerships Alyse Amato
ATLAS is excited to share its fifth full-time hire: Director of Partnerships Alyse Amato. In this role, Alyse will play a pivotal role in developing ATLAS’s internship opportunities by strengthening relationships with new and existing employer partners across the finance sector.
Alyse is a New Jersey native who is passionate about improving equity in education and the job market. A graduate of Georgetown University, Alyse began her career as a high school math teacher. After several years in the classroom, she managed alumni career programming for Uncommon Schools. Alyse is no stranger to entrepreneurial nonprofit organizations: she was the founding partnerships manager at the Marcy Lab School, a rigorous college alternative program designed to prepare under-represented young people for full-time careers in software engineering. At Marcy Lab, Alyse worked with employer partners ranging from Fortune 100 companies to technology startups to facilitate hiring and networking opportunities for Marcy graduates.
With more than 100 Fellows in the ATLAS program, Alyse joins ATLAS at an exciting organizational juncture. “We look forward to expanding employer partnerships under Alyse’s creative leadership,” said Executive Director Phoebe Anderson. “Together with our partners, we look forward to transforming the financial sector by creating opportunities for talent that has been historically excluded from the profession.”
