ATLAS is the only nonprofit organization to focus solely on preparing under-resourced young people for careers in finance. Our students, or Fellows as they are called, receive four years of scholarships, mentorships, and real-world work experience to ensure they are prepared for life changing careers in the finance industry.

Access to a curated slate of candidates
During an introductory conversation, we will learn about the technical and soft skills required for a successful internship. Next, we will provide a short list of candidates that meet the profile—all of whom met a rigorous bar for admission and have at least one year of internship experience and have received training in Excel, Finance 101 and Professional Development 101. You will be responsible for conducting interviews and making the final hiring decisions.

Our Fellows are recruited from Chicago and New York and come from a variety of experiences and backgrounds:

We start relationships with high school seniors because it is a pivotal inflection point that allows us to identify and develop brilliant and hard working young people who might not otherwise have access to this career path.
We provide four years of college scholarships to ensure our Fellows can go to the college of their choice and graduate with a four-year degree.
We also provide more than just financial support to help them succeed. ATLAS’s professional development and internship opportunities provide career pathways in an industry that has an accelerated recruitment timeline and too often requires a legacy connection.
